Nowadays, breeders from the RF buy breeding material globally with a clear aim to improve the genetic value of their herds which leads to the economic profit and food self-sufficiency.

GENOSERVICE Corp. has already supplied our partners in the RF with insemination doses, live bulls and heifers in calf, however, this year's climax was the supply of young heifers for the Moscow Region.

GENOSERVICE Corp. arranged a visit of the leading Russian breeders to the top Czech breeding farms which presented animals with outstanding exterior traits along with high breeding and utility values inherited from their ancestors.

The aim was to select suitable heifers as donors of the highest genomic value embryos and we must admit that the experts demonstrated vast experience with animals from other European states during the selection.

he cooperation agreement concerning the implementation of the 5K management program (5 keys to a dairy cattle farm management) between the SCHP “EKOPRODUKT” company and the GENOSERVICE Corp. company was signed in November 2014.

Heifers started to calve at the new EKOPRODUKT farm in the Samara Region in June 2014. In 3 years, by the end of 2017, the farm with an average number of 1050 dairy cows achieved the yield of 35 kg of milk!

This yield level puts the farm among the world's leaders and the animals also demonstrate excellent health. Cull rate within 2 months after calving is at outstanding 5%.

Very good results were also achieved in reproduction. The service period is 126 days (in 2015, when we started with reproduction, the service period was 252). There are constantly 53 - 55% of pregnant cows in the herd.

The 44th year of the show was held in Ceske Budejovice from 24th August to 29th August 2017, this year with a theme of "The Journey of Agriculture". Bread Basket is an international agricultural exhibition with more than 100 thousand visitors and hundreds of Czech and foreign exhibitors. Various events and seminars were organized during the show, such as "Modern Technologies in Agriculture", organized by the Commercial Representation of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Industrial Chamber of the RF.
