Nowadays, breeders from the RF buy breeding material globally with a clear aim to improve the genetic value of their herds which leads to the economic profit and food self-sufficiency.
GENOSERVICE Corp. has already supplied our partners in the RF with insemination doses, live bulls and heifers in calf, however, this year's climax was the supply of young heifers for the Moscow Region.
GENOSERVICE Corp. arranged a visit of the leading Russian breeders to the top Czech breeding farms which presented animals with outstanding exterior traits along with high breeding and utility values inherited from their ancestors.
The aim was to select suitable heifers as donors of the highest genomic value embryos and we must admit that the experts demonstrated vast experience with animals from other European states during the selection.
The result speaks for itself. Heifers from Netis Jablunkov, Agras Bohdalov and Zeras Radostín breeding farms were selected as the best of the best.
Having endured exacting transport, the animals were stalled in a quarantine stall of a superior genetic center where they have become successfully acclimatized and their current breeders speak very highly of them.
Successful insemination has been performed and first embryos have been collected from donor cows. We may therefore boldly say that the Czech Republic breeders supplied a foundation of an expedite genetic advance of herds in the RF. The success of the Czech breeders in tough competition of the whole Europe clearly confirms that colleagues from the RF are interested in further cooperation. GENOSERVICE Corp. is currently involved in the selection of heifers and top Holstein bulls from Czech breeding farms for further supply of the best genetic material for the RF.
